Cookie Policy
Effective Date: July 19, 2026
What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser. Community PACT uses a minimal set of cookies — we do not use advertising cookies, third-party analytics cookies, or cross-site tracking cookies of any kind.
Cookies We Use
| Cookie | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| auth_token | Keeps you signed in to your account (httpOnly, cannot be read by JavaScript) | Strictly necessary | Session / up to 30 days |
| cookie_consent | Remembers that you've seen and dismissed the cookie notice | Strictly necessary | 1 year |
No Analytics or Advertising Cookies
We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, Hotjar, or any similar third-party tracking service. We do track anonymous, aggregate site traffic (pages visited, referring domain, device type) to understand how the Platform is used, but this is done server-side using an anonymous visitor identifier derived from a one-way hash of your IP address and a daily-rotating salt — no cookie is used for this, and we never store your raw IP address. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Managing Cookies
Because Community PACT only sets strictly necessary cookies required for login and remembering your cookie preference, there is no non-essential cookie to opt out of. You can still block or delete cookies at any time through your browser's settings, but doing so will prevent you from staying logged in to the Platform.
