Accessibility Statement

Effective Date: July 19, 2026

Our Commitment

Community PACT is a civic accountability platform meant to be usable by every member of the community, including people with disabilities. We are committed to providing a Platform that is accessible in accordance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, and to meeting our obligations under Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

What We're Doing

  • Using semantic HTML and labeled form controls throughout the Platform;
  • Maintaining sufficient color contrast between text and backgrounds;
  • Supporting keyboard navigation for interactive elements;
  • Providing descriptive alt text for meaningful images;
  • Reviewing new features against WCAG 2.1 AA criteria before release.

Accessibility is an ongoing effort. Some parts of the Platform may not yet fully conform to every WCAG 2.1 AA success criterion, and we are actively working through a remediation backlog to close those gaps.

Report an Accessibility Barrier

If you encounter a barrier that prevents you from accessing content or using any feature of the Platform, please let us know. Include the page URL, a description of the issue, and the assistive technology or browser you were using, if applicable. We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within 5 business days and to provide a remediation timeline within 30 days.

Third-Party Content

Some content on the Platform — such as user-submitted evidence links, legislative text from external government sources, or embedded documents — originates from third parties and may not be fully accessible. We are not able to remediate content we do not control, but we will make reasonable efforts to provide equivalent access where feasible.
